Labor Day Weekend

My first blogging day Ü
We had a great weekend....camping! Tent camping even!! Actually, we only were able to camp for one night due to Sundays being our major "work day." Sunday eve. services were cancelled so we, along with 2 other families, took off to camp, swim, and eat. Campsite was great, the swim was cold but refreshing, the food was, of course, great--(it is FOOD!!!) and the company, even better! The sleep...well, not so relaxing, but how much can you expect for a tent floor?!
God gave us safety, fun, and free time. Now back to schedule.
School again tomorrow. I love my kids being home for the summer, but I do have to say that school time sure helps get us back on track. We love to play during the summer and this past 2 months has been no different. We enjoyed Mom Zeik's 2 week visit, neice and nephew 3 1/2 week visit, and also a visit to my mom's. To add to all that, we had VBS, Jr. Camp, and an early summer camping trip. Of course, we had all our regular house chores and church ministry. As soon as we blinked, it seemed the summer was over. So, here we go........we are now being welcomed into the early fall season...my favorite!

Another favorite:
Isaiah 26:3-4
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

Hey my little cuz! Long time no talk. My baby is a junior this year in high school. She will be taking her behind the wheel driving course soon and will be 17 in 5 short months. Treasure every moment with each of your kidlets (as I'm sure you do) because they grow so fast (as I'm sure you know). I love you and miss seeing you. Give hugs and love to your hubby and my little, little cuz's. Is that a word? :o)
